Why not find a subject you know will make a good slide, set you camera 
up on a tripod and take multiple sets of images. Once you have taken 
enough to cover the need in the exchange group, get the film processed, 
mount the images and send them in. Voila!

This does limit the use of ones personal best (past images), but still 
allows for a form of 3D slide image exchange. Again, I am speaking from 
an observers point of view as I do not make stereo slides myself...
