Call for participants: NSA 1997 Technical Workshop

Technical Workshop: NSA 1997

Phyllis Maslin, the convention honcho, has me down to moderate a 2 hour
gathering of people who are involved with stereoscopic camera repair,
optical design, and camera building/hacking.

In attempting to come up with a format, one idea is to allow people 10
minutes each to discuss a project or concept they've worked on, from the
theoretical to the practical... a forum for sharing ideas, successes,
failures, concerns, speculations. There should be time allowed for
audience interaction.

This may be too broad a platform-- I'm undecided at the moment, but I'd
appreciate some dialog.

Following the lectures, the meeting could break down into small groups
where people get a chance to show people finished projects or discuss
the theoretical. People could distribute handouts to other like-minded
people.
