Subject: If you like Vincent Price & 3-D ...
Hay!
While waiting for some friends at Duke of Perth last night (btw,
they no longer have Blackthorn cider, just Woodpecker :( boo hoo!) I spied
a Music Box flyer ...
If you like Vincent Price & 3-D movies, you'll be happy to hear
that Vincent Price's "The Mad Magician" & "House of Wax" will be playing at
the Music Box soon! Oooh! These films are great, but they are even better
in their intended 3-D format.
To make it more enticing, this is what the flyer says: "Last
chance to see vintage 3-D film projected on a silver screen from 2
synchronized projectors. True 3-D as it was designed! The same processes
used by Disney Studios and in Imax 3-D presentations."
The Mad Magician: April 19 & 20 (Matinee)
House of Wax: April 26, 27 & May 3, 4 (Midnight & Matinee)
I can't wait! Ooooh! ~chills~
*ahem* Anywho ... just thought I'd share.
Cheers!

PPSS: About 3-D shows ... there is a great 3-D series going on, Vincent
Price is not the only one. Also: Hitchcock, Preston Sturges, Karl Malden
movies.
PPPSSS: Also a mention that Dennis Scott entertains at the theater organ
during Fri/Sat/Sun eve intermissions!

I don't have any more details at this point but I don't doubt that those
that are likely to be interested in going have the means to find out more
about where and when this is exactly. Tentatively, I and my imaginary
friend Bruce Springsteen will likely be showing up for the matinees on the
19th and 26th, probably with camera gear.
