A number of people have replaced the Berthiot lenses, but they,ve
usually used Zuikos from Olympus Trips.
I guess the camera in question here is one of the ones for the 45 x 107
size - a standard in Europe until the "Realist system" was designed with
its slightly smaller mounts. These Verascopes were designed for glass
plates, but there were 127 film adapters available. Other Verascopes
were designed for the other standard format of the day - 6 x 13cm. There
was a 120 film back for this format. These cameras are relatively common
- but NOT with the roll film backs!
Hope this helps
