DrT peeks up from his taxes long enough to opine:

George, maybe you could grind them down with your Dremel! ;) ;)

I have noticed the annoying reflection on *some* shots (anyone have a
good solution for that?) but to make the leap to a blanket statement
that an RBT mount "does not look good in the viewer" is a bit too
much, IMO. The thickness of the RBT makes the stereo window look
very thick and of course some people will like that and others won't.
I am normally close to neutral on the effect of the thick window, but
I have seen a few slides that were significantly enhanced by it. So
while a few slides suffer due to reflection problems, a few benefit
from a more dramatic appearance...and most look fine in the viewer
--though the notch is annoying in the $3 viewer, due to the way the
light leaks past the width of Realist format slide mount (anyone
have a good solution for that light leak?)
