Tom:  Great idea to post our discussion!  I had heard about the 'spacer' idea
many years ago but discounted it because of the inconvenience and bother. I
finally had to give up the search. What I hope will come out of further
communications about this is that someone out there may have actually
designed a carrier or that they might just be interested enough to design one
for the TDC116.  Wouldn't that be great!
