Re Playboy in stereo

There was a Playboy edition produced in the early eighties in the UK I
think although it may have been some other "girlie magazine" . I seem to
remember that the anaglyph images were refered to as "Holographic 3d" or
something inaccurate like that.  We had a group of unemployed postgrads at
the time who went into schools with a kind of science roadshow. They bought
a copy probably from the departments petty cash "purely for scientific
interest" as luck would have it one of the best images was an advert which
I think they took into schools mounted on card for permanence, and to hide
the back view !. Although I think it was a cigarette advert so it was still
very non PC, although it would have been department property both it and
the magazine have disapeared.
