Twin 35mm 'point and shoot'

I have been experimenting with a twin Minolta X-700 set-up. It has the
advantage that both cameras can be fired 'simultaneously' (more or less) via
an electronic signal from an "IR-1" Infra-red receiver. While not perfect,
it seems superior to a mechanical "dual-cable release" trigger.

I am now looking for a pair of small 35mm range finder "point and shoot"
cameras, for a similar application. Can anyone recommend a brand and model
which can be triggered electronically? (I don't mind opening them to run a
jumper between the firing switches, if necessary.)

Thank you.
