The number of 36 exp. stereo slide film rolls that I shot in 1996 is 88.
That's 1.5 rolls a week or 7 rolls a month.

This little fact came out after completing my 1996 taxes. The cost to
process these rolls is $773. The cost of film is around $350. Assuming
that I mounted 15 pictures from every roll, I used 1320 Albion mounts, at
an estimated cost of $265. The total cost of being a stereo photographer
for 1996 is about $1500.

Of course, since I am in the "business" of buying/selling and repairing
3d equipment, this is just a fraction of the money spent for 3d in 1996.
But since I only take pictures for my own pleasure, this amount reflects
the cost of my hobby. Given that I am spending $1500 a year to take
pictures, I can justify owing a good stereo camera and a couple of viewers.

I would like to hear how many rolls other stereo photographers shot in 1996.
