duping slides with a realist

Well, after using a minolta w/macro lense to dupe realist slides, I
thought of a way which might work better than either a repronar or macro
set up. Why can't you take a realist line it up with a red button viewer?

So far, this is what I've come up with: realist w/shutter open, lined up
directly with a red button, gives an image about 75% the size of the
normal realist image. I used tissue paper on the film plane to focus.
The image seemed sharp enough to try shooting some test shots, but just
too small to be useful, unless you wanted to try mounting them in
viewmaster reels.

I then, attached some closeup lenses to the realist. I used +1,+2,+3,and
+4 diopters. The images got larger, but I couldn't get the image to
cover the whole 5 perfs. Also, as I stacked the lenses, I noticed a
definte vignetting effect.

I think that with sufficient diopter (say +10), this could be a workable
way to dupe slides. You could cover one lenses, shoot, switch lenses,
double expose covering the other lense, and you wouldn't waste any film
duping. I hate throwing away 3 perfs per image.

Also, this would be perfect for most of the realist users out there.

Anyone wanna thry figuring out the optics?
