Re Loreo
I was a little puzzled by Dave's post about the Loreo , I have tried
removing the glass front and painting the unused mirror areas black to
reduce unwanted reflections .And also bought the manafacturers "Nose" which
is their solution to the same problem and although this does improve things
it still does not compare favourably with say my Nimslo's which are also
half frame. Either for prints or especialy for slides and although I dont
have a realsist the results I have seen seem to be as good to better than
the Nimslo. Because of this I have also tried removing the mirrors but to
produce a Hypostereo not Hyperstereo camera but as the Loreos lenses are
Toed out in the wrong direction its going to take a powerfull close across
both of them to converge their axis , if it can be done at all. The lenses
as they are would not be hyperstereo because of their small seperation and
the fact that they diverge which would mean that they would overlap only
slightly if at all. Does Dave actualy mean Hypostereo if so I would be
interested as to what close up lens he used as I still wish to try this
myself. P.J.Homer
