It's very weak, yes.  The effect on size perception is more noticeable (at
large vergence angles, i.e. as though you were looking at something near,
things tend to look smaller), which is interesting given that you'd
logically expect the two effects to be linked & similar.  There was a
discussion about this a few months ago, try searching the archives under
"vergence micropsia".
