Sam, do you really read my posts? Have you read others posts about the
subject? I do not think I have stifled anything in that there have been
so many responses... A re-write might be in order for you and others
who still do not understand where I am coming from. (Amazingly, some
have been able to clearly understand my posts... =) ) I was attempting
to say something along the lines of:

"There is a large variety of viable stereoscopic (3D) image delivery
(taking or presenting) systems. Some you may have NOT EVER tried yet.
Put simply, please don't use this forum to say that any one is better
than another until you are in a position do to so based on experience
with all the systems, and armed with facts."

Notice, I am not saying anything about any system being better than any
other...YET. I can't tell you or anyone else what is better, because
that is a decision that needs to be made by the individual. This leaves
plenty of room for discussions bout opinions, but requests that blanket
statements be controlled a bit... Simply requesting some discipline...

I will add that I am with Larry RE what I happen to enjoy the most
right now... Until you have seen the Total 3D video board and the
corresponding full screen, flicker free 3D images it can present (JPS),
you have not seen one of the better 3D image presentation possibilities
IMHO. Until such time, I think it's dangerous to make statements about
what is best or not...

Funny how you claim to not enjoy whiners, by whining about it. ;-)

To be clear, I greatly respect Dr. T, and the add a tremendous amount
of value his post add to this list. No, we don't always agree, but that
has been the basis for some good discussions I think (most of the time
anyway...). This whole thread isn't about him or anyone else, it's
about an idea! No one is "whining" about it, just concerned that some
measure of care be taken as words are chosen to be used in presenting
thoughts and opinions in this list.

I have specifically chosen words (maybe I am not doing it very well!
;-) !!) to highlight the fact that I am concerned about the use of over
generalizations on this list... Not just about slide film...Messages
that say things similar to "all loreos produce poor images" or "slides
are the best" or "digital can't do it" or "my viewer is better than
yours" do not benefit anyone. I love discussion, and the sharing of
information that Photo-3D allows, but the occasional message that posts
(for eternity in the searchable digests) an opinion stated as fact,
undermines the overall value of the list... IMHO.

I will not continue this thread. I think my position is clear. If
anyone still thinks I am counter discussion, or that I have some
alternate agenda... ???
