Listmembers,

As part of a research project with which I am involved, I recently went
to see the Dennis Collection of Stereographs held by New York Public
Library. This is a very large collection of nineteenth century images; I
was looking for views of industrial buildings in North West Connecticut.

The Librarian suggested that I contacted a collectors' organisation to
find out if more images of Connecticut industry are available for study.
My searches so far have not yielded the name of an organisation, but I
did find this list. I realise this is not the forum I need for my
request, but I wonder if any of the listmembers can point me in the
right direction.
