p3d archives are complete!

Thanks to the splendid effort by Paul Talbot and John B., the
photo-3d digest archives are now complete and on line for 
your downloading pleasure. 

Coverage is from issue #1 through issue #2006. The first few digests
contain a "favorite message" compilation from the former incarnation of 
the list. (The earliest message there is Jan 5th, 1990).

Issue #1 of the current list begins with November 12th, 1992.

They are in somewhat different format than is used now, so if you
have some kind of filtering/sorting software in place for the digests,
it may need to be adjusted. 

The 2006 digests run about 41 meg at the current time.

To access via keyword, point your browser to

and follow the link to the photo-3d search engine.

To access the files directly, either point your browser to

http://bobcat.etsu.edu/ftpdir/photo/photo-3d/digests/p3d/

or login via anonymous ftp to /pub/photo/photo-3d/digests/p3d

Paul made a suggestion that further breakdown of the information
into subdirectories might be worthwhile, so I have set up

s3d

These are all under /pub/photo/photo-3d/digests which is a little
confusing, but I don't want to break outside links that are pointing
to this area.

IF you use the search engine, it will give you the choice of searching
all directories simultaneously, or allowing you to restrict the search
to one of the directories listed above.
