Here is my review (opinion):
1) Cockpit shot with Han and Chewy in foreground, Leia
and Luke in middle and C3P0 and partially visible R2D2
in background. By far the best of the 3. Very realistic
3d. Good depth and roundness to the characters. Very
little ghosting. I find if I curve the card slightly
it is ghostfree. (Ghosting refers to seeing the wrong
image with an eye or seeing both images with the same
eye.)
2) X-wing fighter formation. The nearest fighter looks
pretty good. The group behind it have some depth but
are pretty low res due to the lenticular screening.
The far ones are almost un-identifyable. All the stars
look like horizontal smears due to the lenticular
effect I presume. The second best of the three, I'd
say.
3) Fighters attacking the snow walkers. The walkers
have too many fine details so even the nearest one
looks fairly poor. The far walkers are pretty blurry.
Not a good image in my opinion. A closeup of just
one walker would have been better. (The nearest one
is about 2" high and 1.5" wide [due to the semi-
head-on viewpoint]).
---
As stated by others they are 4x6" cards and have
slightly rounded corners. The backs are white and
have no info aside from saying "Made in USA" in
english and french. They are glued to the cereal
boxes with two vertical lines of glue which tends
to tear the paper backing on the lent's when your
remove them.
The three cerials were Corn Flakes, Frosted Flakes
and Corn Pops. I gave the Corn Pops to the food bank
but figure we'll eat the other two.
I paid $7.99 CDN at Kmart for the three pack.
Eight bucks for two good lenticulars (My opinion) seems
like a lot but with two boxes of cereal included that's
not too bad.
If someone is really desparate for these I could
buy you a set and mail the cards to you and give the
cereal to the food bank.
BTW I had also seen them at Safeway for about $6 but
the cockpit cards (my favorite one) all seemed defective.
They all had bad ghosting no matter what angle I viewed
them from. Perhaps due to a manufacturing problem
that got the images out of line with the lenticular
screen.
