I hope those who rely on Kodachrome are taking notes here... :)
What kind of time frame are you talking about? Kodachromes from
the 50s are still going strong and, the way things look, they will
be going strong for at least 50 years from now. Fading into a
shadow, 400 years from now is a rather long way to to go...
By that time (or even much earlier), most of us would agree that
digital technology will come to the rescue.
Many of the B&W views that I collect look in a bad shape already...
(almost faded into a shadow, some of them). Where does that fit
into your theory?
Also, this seems to only be an issue for histrorians and collectors...
How does this affect me, a person who enjoys taking and viewing stereo
pictures TODAY? Should I shoot B&W so I can made the 2100 era
collectors happy???
