The Total3D board is a hardware system and enables the rapid operation of
stereo displays and the absence of flicker effect. It comes with a pair of
3D Spex and viewing software.
I understand that the 3D Spex are available alone and are supposed to
include some basic viewing software that works without benefit of hardware
acceleration. There will be noticable flicker effects.
Some time ago I understood that it used a DOS batch file to set up a list of
image files for viewing. It operates in slide show mode. Visit their website
or communicate with the company for more recent and specific information.
They are included among companies who have agreed to use the new JPS format.
I expect they will have something newer which would reflect that
participation and would view JPS files. If it wasn't included in the
purchase, it may be available to you via their website as a download.
I don't know about Cybershades. Aren't they out of business now? If that's
the one I'm thinking of, they did have some software available that differed
from newer systems in some way.
Perhaps LCDBIOS is the program you need on your system for the 3D Spex? If
so, they probably have a link to the program, or contact me off-line.
