***** I don't know if all the participants are known to me, but the ones I
know about are Canopus, VRex, Nuvison, and Stereographics. I'm sure the
discussion has reached other companies as well. It's a pretty easy standard
to agree to since it helps everyone in the distribution and use of stereo
images.
You suggest *slow down*, does that mean less information per post? Leave out
some of the connections? Tell only part of the Story? I did leave quite a
lot of things out .... ;-)
As new developments happen that I hear about I'll pass them on too. I've had
early information about JPS on my website for quite awhile now. It was
written when it first developed and I need to add much more to it, along
with some tips on getting the best results in preparing JPS files. As Dan
mentioned, the format is less forgiving than other formats due to use of the
full screen.
The same would apply to interlaced images too though. Some of which I've
seen on the web haven't had the vertical alignment adjusted. Such things
become very apparent because if you view the image without the glasses,
corresponding points are vertically displaced. They generally work when
viewed, but become much easier to view when corrected.
