Wendys 3d glasses, non-interlace monitors, posting

I picked up a pair of red/blue glasses yesterday at Wendys. I asked for
another pair so my wife could watch too, and was handed another. There were
no signs anywhere about the offer.
I plan to tape all the programs, then transfer the 3d segments to another
tape to save in my collection.
Any non-interlaced monitor supports the basic 480x640 interlaced mode. This
is the so called "safe mode" available on bootup of WIN95. I once blew up a
monitor by not using safe-mode. My 17" monitor failed, and I substituted an
old one from the office. It couldn't support the high horizontal freq that
was selected and overheated and smoked. Any monitor instruction manual
lists the available modes along with their horizontal, vertical frequencies
as well as the dot clock (pixel rate) frequency. Current monitors have 6 or
more modes of operation, all automatic.
I am able to post again. There was a problem with my settings in Eudora not
matching those needed by my URL. The listserv robot got confused and
thought I wasn't a member, although it continued to send me the digests. I
changed them, unsubscribed and resubscribed.
