Many thanks to all. Your kind words are encouraging.

Having a real workshop is only a dream. I only got my Dremel a few months
ago. It's mostly a lot of hand filing and sawing. The rest is just a vice,
torch, pliers and a few homemade thingies to get lenses and covers off.

Hey, don't put down the old scotch ( or duct) tape approach to stereo
experimentation. It's probably got a lot of people interested in stereo that
way, and taught them how to have fun!

It took a lot of mistakes over the years to be confident enough to actually
take chances on a few hundred dollars investment with no guarantees. This
time it payed off, but I always tell people to start off small.

I am proud of the HG Well's kindof appearance it took on! I still have some
more cosmetic work to do, but at least I fixed the focus problem. I also
found the source of the light leak: I forgot a screw!
