|I can just hear 10 million Americans saying to each other "Wow, 3-D really
|sucks! No wonder it died." More than 10 million, I suppose. What is ABC

Yeah - my impression also.

I had a pretty clean feed directly off the C-band satellite (but not a wild
feed but rather out of Washington, DC). The big problem I has was a
*lot* of ghosting. About the only effect that even halfway worked on my
setup was the drill bit thru the table gag, probably because it was
silvery with no color "attached". And this was with my official "Comin
At Ya!" Wendys glasses I got this afternoon.

I wonder, though, did anyone else notice (or did I mistake) that the
prototype glasses Allen was wearing on Tool Time were

a). Red and GREEN (very hard to tell, but I thought I saw it twice)

and with

b). Red on the LEFT!

There was also an interesting out-take on one of the Extra/Access showbiz
shows with Allen doing the squirt string gag at the end of the show, but
since he was wearing the glasses he couldn't tell which was the nozzle
was pointing and ended up spraying his forehead. Now, THAT was funny!
I was real disappointed they didnt run that at the end of the actual
show.

The shot on "Spin City" was so short and non-germane to the plot it's
obvious they were forced into doing it and it will be replaced by a
commercial, I'd guess. I kept waiting for another segment, but that
was it.

Also, I thought I'd mention on a feed out of NYC a couple of days ago
apparently they had a dead spot to fill, so they ran one of those self-
promotion pieces (WE'RE NUMBER ONE or something similar). It had a short
of Katy Curic (sorry, don't know how to spell it) looking into a hot
pink viewmaster, then a switch to an "in viewer" reduced frame format
of various locations around the world their news team covers.
