Rather than a change in raw materials used by RBT, is it possible that
the RBT mounts become more brittle with: a) age; b) exposure to certain
environmental conditions; c) exposure to the heat of projection--assuming
the heat is not enough to make Jamie's smoors recipe ;)

Anybody have any observations as to whether these or other factors have
influenced their personal experience with breaking pins?  My experience
is limited to new purchased mounts.
