Actually, re Gabriels kind post, we've tried the Imagetech 1000 in the
underwater housing (though not for the 20,000 Leagues shot), and it works.
Unfortunately, the water in Puget sound is not the place to do it. Salt
water, lots of lifeforms, gets dark fast, low visibility, etc... The
housing does a good job of keeping out the water at 25 feet-- my friend
Michelle who was testing the rig didn't go any deeper. But to get the most
out of this rig, you need the crystal clear water of the Bahamas or
someplace similar. Anyone want to sign over their frequent flyer miles?
I'd be glad to go try it... :)
