$150 for a common Keystone Telebinocular? With all due respect to the
store that is selling it, that's a rip-off. The viewer that I just had
for sale for $40 (sold now) is essentially the same viewer. I have sold the
Keystone Telebinocular in box for around $60.
Photo-3d part: These are good viewers, IMO. The construction is all-metal
and the optics are glass and good quality. The eyepieces are shaped like
binoculars. If you are not wearing glasses this is great because it
isolates you from the environment. If you wear glasses then it is a
problem because the glasses will not fit and cannot get close to the
lenses. There is a light source that will fit at the center of the viewer
for illumination. One original light had a yellow bulb, another one had a
blue. Colored light might help reduce aberrations.
