One of the hurdles to be overcome with this approach, it seems to
me, is to determine just which of the point-and-shoots actually
have an electronically fired shutter (rather than mechanically
actuated) so that they can be wired together. Having looked at
several display models it isn't obvious (to me).

It would be very useful if people could post to the list, cameras
that they know have electronically-activated shutters so that we
could build up a list of suitable cameras.

Starting with the Lite-Touch which we know about of course.
