I'm very much aware that such excellent examples exist and would love the
chance to view them. I even believe they could be transmitted by existing
media to people's homes with reasonable success. I'm also convinced by
information alone that Dan knows how to accomplish the technical end of the
task. 

However, no broadcast boom will result from what ABC concocted. There is
still a waiting audience who despite the unsubtle trickery hold onto the
idea that reasonably enjoyable 3D may eventually reach the media. Or maybe
most are  just gullible enough to nibble again when it's promised.... 

ABC has no further credddibility and no excuse they might offer in this
example could be believable. It would take an outstanding full
feature-length 100% 3D example of the real thing to change my opinion of
that particular network. (50's 3D movies or anything newer in the same style
don't qualify)

There was never a question whether good material exists, the question is why
it or something of similar quality didn't reach the screen?
