Large format stuff

Thanks to John B for the wisdom of the camera shift. For viewing, I was
thinking about building a Wheatstone-inspired rig to view two backlit
8x10 transparancies. There's this guy in Germany who makes a viewer
called Realision that I read about in 3d Magazin. It was constructed of
Plexiglas or Lucite and was built to view prints but I think
transparancies would be mind-blowing. Has anyone out there ever done
anything like this? Am I crazy? Should I just shoot a couple of rolls
with my Realist and forget about it?
