Interview about the 3D Exhibit

I was interviewed by the local paper about the 3D Exhibition today
and it went pretty well. Actually, it took an hour and a half! I guess
they enjoyed the show and hearing my babbling. I gave the interviewer and
photographer a quick history lesson on stereophotography and then described
all of the different formats and contemporary uses of the medium (time will
tell if the information was retained ;-). Somewhere near the end the
interviewer asked if my friends thought I was a bit kooky doing this
stuff...I'm not sure if he did! Anyway, I said that at least I was in good
company with all of you nutcakes.

The photographs might end up being a disaster...they kinda got
caught up with the idea of me wearing a pair of anaglyph glasses and making
a 'WOW' expression. I steered it as best as I could towards a picture of a
stacked group of stereo cameras and my eyes in amongst them...of course, I
was still forced to wear the freakin' anaglyph glasses! sigh...when will
the media stop these stereotypes.

Anyway, the article is due for this Saturday and I will make a
quick web-page with the text and picture(s) for all to enjoy and make fun
of me.

                                                        :-)jamie.
