That nose grease thing was a joke!  But I have read that scratches in the
shinny (not emulsion) side of *negatives* if covered with oil (as from the 
nose, this was mentioned as the source of grease) will not show up in the
print.

PS.  I commented on Bill's stereo exerience (27 years?) not age... I am not
sure that experience qualifies for a sell-3d discount... Maybe it is the
other way around :-)
