Pseudoscopic beginner questions

Ok, Larry B & Brian R both mention reversing the glasses (or the views)
creates a pseudoscopic (or inside out) effect. Again, in my case, Bob
Mannle's tutorial (http://www.tisco.com/3d-web/ana_demo/pana.htm)
says to use the glasses (red left) and replace the red channel from the
left image with the red channel from the right image. When I do this, I
see greater depth with the red on the right. I have no eye defects that
would preclude me from believing that were I to replace the red channel
in the right image with that of the left, I would see any differently with
the glasses red left. The depth is very clear as to what is 'in front' of
what, and I'm pretty sure I'm not viewing it pseudoscopically.

Soooo, could the problem be slight towing of the camera from my
shoot-step-shoot method, or is Bob's tutorial backwards? Please
take a gander at my image and let me know...:
