3D Underground Folio

The first ever 3D Underground Folio just completed its first round
and is getting ready to start its second. There were twenty slides
from caves in Arizona, Alabama, Idaho, Nevada, Australia, and
England. Cameras used were Realist, RBT X2, Owla, and Modified
Nimslo. Mounts used were RBT, Albion (in cardboard and glass),
Spicer, and heat seal. In other words there was a great variety,
which gave the opportunity to compare equipment and formats. There
were some good slides and some outstanding slides with varying
subject matter, composition and lighting.

When I first proposed this folio it was commented by a certain
someone *{;-) that they did not think there would be enough variety
to get a folio like this started, much less keep it going. Nothing
could be further from the truth. I admit that a certain amount of the
shots may only appeal to a caver, but the majority would be enjoyed
by anyone. Just wait until you see Dick LaForge's show at the NSA
convention.

Anyway, the real reason I am posting this is to entice others into
joining the circuit. I had a lot of responses when I first posted,
but many said they weren't quite ready when it came time to put it
together. Are you ready now? Is this the first time you have heard
about it? Are you just interested in more information? Drop me a line
or look me up at the NSA convention (provided my travel expenses come
through).

Thanks for the time,

David W. Kesner
