3Discover - deja vu?

Has anyone had a sense of deja vu when looking at the 3Discover? Although
the 3Discover could not be said to be infringing any intellectual property
rights in any way as it has many different features and design changes, to
me there is that basic "feel" about it that is reminiscent of the 1970's
Japanese Pan Pet Expo (and others) viewer.
