Thanks Gabriel for the nice comments. I did the grape image and explained
the method to my mom. She did the pencil coloring of the grapes after I drew
them. She created the Roses much more recently and completely on her own.
I'm proud of her! The drawing was done on two large sheets of paper aligned
with rulers. She used a special scale to develop stereo parallax as each
part of the image was drawn and traced over. Finally she copied the line
drawing and reduced it's size to a parallel viewable image and colored it
with pencil. (lots of work!)
I've created several versions of her image including some crossed views in
which I separated the roses from the background in the computer. For one
image I created a special environment in TrueSpace SE, which took all night
to render, and composited the roses into the center of the image. Check it
