The Rabbit Hash Stereo Photography Club has been trying to do this.  We
have purchased a projector and various other items through everything
from bake sales to naked lady picture sales.  We don't have dues, just  a
couple of bucks a year to bay for the newsletters.  So far it has been
pretty successful.  We are trying to finance getting some "loaner"
equipment for local schools now.
