Pan-Pet exposed! VM (or TruVue) Chinese Rip Off?

Bob Shotsberger and Garry Cullen both wrote to inform me that the Pan-Pet
opened up and the films were interchangeable. Being the careful person I
am I had noticed that there was a lip on the side but did not think it
worth trying. I have now tried and low and behold the 14 perf wide film is
exposed and the system of prisms that allows the viewing one above each
other on the strip.

Photos are now on the site under the heading World Wide 3D Items of
Interest as follows:-
Pan-Pet 14 perf film strip
Pan-Pet open showing 2 level prisms

Bob also has a list of Pan-Pet films and I hope to get a copy and put it on
the site soon.

Bob also raised the issue of the Chinese Rip Off Happy Birthday Viewer and
it being more akin to TruVue cards. Although the views used are
ViewMaster, the cards are TruVue like, but the system by which you press
the black button and the solid plastic card which has 2 pictures side by side
on each side of the card moves through its 11 frames one at a time and then
it is turned over seems to be unique - any one have any views or
information on a similar system?.

The 22 images, 21 of which being direct copies of a 3 reel ViewMaster set
such as Cinderella, with one extra one from a Sesame Street Muppet reel is
why I called them VM rip offs although the system is very different.

The pictures of this system :-
