an NSA Workshop for Newbies

Several years ago at the NSA Convention in San Diego, the convention was
broadcast on the local news and the result was an influx of new interested
stereo enthusiasts.  When they arrived at the Convention, they were a little
disappointed that there wasn't a workshop for them to learn all about this
format.

I was looking forward to George doing something like that for Bellevue, but
personal committments prevent him.

In fact, we are having our woes with getting any kind of news coverage.  It
seems that the 4th of July is so busy as a news event that we probably won't
get any!  They tell us - "any other weekend - no problem." 

So - looking forward to next year -- how about  a workshop for newbies in
'98 in Richmond, Virginia? Everyone involved could start planning now in
getting  the word  out to the local news, newspapers, camera shops, anituque
shows, clubs etc.  The veterans who come to the Convention probably won't be
interested in the workshop, but if a new pool of enthusiasts is tapped
through the news media etc., then we have new members for NSA and stereo new
enthusiasts and new customers for me :)
