When used on a Sun with "netscape -install", the Netscape application
has it's *own* palette (move cursor to some other window and the Netscape
window will get bizzare colors until the cursor is moved back). So you
have the "full" 256 colors for Netscape.

That's why it was suggested that only one image per page might
be beneficial. The palette would be chosen for that picture rather
than having the palette "chosen" to try and match a number of pictures.
Better matching would result. Obviously, for a stereo pair, it'd make
little difference if each image of the pair were separate because they'd
both want the same palette.

P.S. - Due to the nature of X-windows, I can run Netscape on my Sun Workstation
at work, but have the window show on my PC at home. So, it probably
really matters where the display server is, rather than where you run
netscape. :-)
