You think looking at dim, stretched-to-ridiculous-proportions,
headache-producing images ;) is a "revelation" for me?

Seriously, I enjoy well-done projection (like you provided during
my time in the VDT program) though I usually prefer it from somewhere
near the ortho seat.  But I don't see it as fundamentally different
from looking at the images in a viewer.  The images are larger, but
farther away, darker, and the colors are less vibrant; projection
is more suited to group viewing; proper mounting is more critical for
projection; the list could go on...

I don't see how any of this adds up to a revelation.
