The 'Being there' effect

Perhaps there is a fine difference, but a difference all the same,
between the impression of 'being there' and simply marveling at what 3D
reveals to you through a viewer. I recently completed my homemade
medium-format viewer, using lovely big coated lenses, and the effect of
'being there' is defintely present! This could also be my growing
experience and expectations for viewing 3D, moving me towards an even
greater degree of resolution. When I started out a couple years back I was
a big supporter of the VM format, even claiming that I saw no reason to use
anything larger.

                                                       :-)jamie.
