Keyboard layouts and funny stuff

Actually what I wrote was(dollar sign) 89.98

Canadian.

I have omitted the dollar sign on purpose which was

translated into( =3D24) by the Internet.  Life is complicated

for those of us dealing with the French fact in Quebec.

I use a few different keyboard layouts depending on whether

I am using French accents or not and this time the dollar sign

I used was translated into something else.  I have an international physica=
l

keyboard with my dollar sign above the 4 but depending on my internal keybo=
ard

layout things change.  What is the deal on this anyway?  Which internal

keyboard should I be using so my messages do not return looking like Einste=
in's note pad?
