3D Movies

Recently the anaglyph prints of Creature and It Came From Outer space
played here in Tacoma. Both prints have faded to be almost worthless,
particularly ICFOS. Creature still had a few sections that worked
reasonably well.
	The films stll being distributed are those made in the 70's and 80's
such as Frankenstein, Jaws 3D or any of those in the over under format.
Most of those prints I've seen recently are in fairly decent shape.
	Some years ago Stereovision put together a 3D festival in Los Angeles
that ran for weeks. They leased a theater specifically for that purpose
and that was equipped to show twin strip films. I was lucky enough to be
down there for the showing of House of Wax in twin strip format. Playing
with it was one of the Three Stooges shorts.
	I'm not sure we'll see something like that done again.
