That reminds of a story I read in a photo book or mag many years
ago...that some pros would actually put their film on a rooftop
on a sunny day (for a few hours, as I recall) or possibly on a
car dashboard, because it was too "immature" as purchased off the
shelf.  I was always somewhat skeptical, but with all these reports
of poor color cast on fresh K-chrome, maybe it wasn't a fabrication
after all.
