My first stereocards

Well after reading all the threads about stereo windows I finally just
started cutting up my contact sheets and mounting them on matt board.
At some point you just have to try things out and see what happens.
:) You can see the results at

These images were taken with my twinbar Lubitel setup and mounted so
that the infinity separation matched the 70mm lens separation of the
cardboard foldup print viewer I got from American Science and Surplus.
<URL:http://www.sciplus.com> I believe the twinbar is introducing
some inadvertant convergence, so I'm working on using some telescoping
square brass tubing on the backs of the cameras to keep them
parallel. I also have to work on figuring out a correction factor so
that the exposures of the two cameras match a bit better.
I've pretty much decided that in the future I'll use this setup for
slides (used with a viewer for the Rocky Mountain Memories 6x6 slide
mounts), and that I'll switch to large format contacts (either 4x5
pairs, or both images on a single 5x7 sheet) for Holmes stereocard
prints.
