NSA 97 Review

We just returned home from NSA '97, (or to be Y2K compliant, NSA 1997),
and this being my first convention, I was very much impressed. I enjoyed
every second of it.

All day Friday was spent at the Stereo Theater and it surpassed all my
expectations. Seeing 12 Kodak Carousel projectors in opeartion is
something to experience. For someone like me who has never seen this
before it was spectacular to say the least. All the projection shows
were superb. The work shops were excellent and the trade show unbelievable.

Normally I'm not much for large banquets, but when I heard David Hitchcock,
Mr. Stereocraft himself, was going to be guest speaker, someone would have
had to give me a Belplasca to keep me from attending. His slide show
included several views of prototype VM cameras. I wouldn't have missed it
for the world.

The convention surpassed all my expectations. Thanks to all who have had a
part in it. My only wish is to have been able to stay another day.
