No hyper-fireworks this year...

Last night I started putting together an super hyperstereo rig with a
camera separation of about 10 feet. Being a chronic procrastinator, I
started putting the rig just one hour before the fireworks were due to
begin. I was doing great but ran out of time and had to leave without my
cameras :-(
So, there will not be any hyper-fireworks for the After Hours competition
this year from me. Unless if I sneak in last year's pictures... but that's
against the rules. That's OK. I still have a few good pictures that fit
the assignment. Last thing I want is Bill Davis to win the competition and
the Realist cap with his Kodak Stereo camera!
While I was organizing my twin SLR gear, I realized that I have 5 Minolta
X-700 bodies. That's two more than what I need. I also have several pairs
of lenses around normal focal length and extra remote cords. I am planning
to put together a twin SLR rig for sale. That will be the first twin SLR
rig to be offered for sale in S3d.
Twin SLRs are great for winning PSA acceptances and awards but are not a
substitute for a REAL stereo camera. This has always been my opinion and I
stick with it :-)
Regards,
