Slide mounting question
- From: P3D Brian Reynolds <reynolds@xxxxxxxxx>

I've gathered together most of what I need to mount my first slides (a
light box, viewer, slide mounts, alignment gauge, slides) but I
haven't decided how to attach the slides to the mounts. I'm using the
Rocky Mountain Memories 6x6 fold over card mounts. I'd like whatever
method I use to be archival. Ignoring arguments about the
impermanence of color materials, I'd like the mounting method to cause
no further harm. It would also be nice if the method were reversable
so that I could go back and remount the slides at a later date if
needed.
I've thought of using 3M's Scotch Magic Brand tape (the green plaid,
not the red plaid), which is archival, but would not be very good if I
needed to do any masking.
Any suggestions?
