Geeze, Louise! 
I've been yammering on for what, 3 years now, about how you can convert
*any* optical instrument to 3-D? 
Edge makes a stereo microscope good to 1000x. 
And, most people who use Nomarsky will claim they see in stereo... Oh well,
two out of three ain't bad.
