I think auctioning off one's own views at the NSA auction is a GREAT
idea!!!  The NSA makes money, the photographer gets to see his views go
to a good home where they will be appreciated and the buyer get some
great modern images for his own personal collection.  What could be
better?  

Bill donates a lot of his own time and money as Chairman of the Board
for NSA.  I know the images he consigns to the auctions are some of his
very best!!!  (Even though I've never seen a bad image of Bill's -- you
should have seen his exhibit this year!!!)  Therefore, I feel it is more
than appropriate for them to be part of the auction.  After all, if no
one wanted them, no one would bid on them would they?

Other folks sell their own work for fun or profit (usually fun I think,
not much profit in 3-D photography overall) and it seems to be
acceptable practice.  I think the NSA auction is as good (or better) an
arena as any for sharing your images with other stereo collectors.
