***** Dr. T, you need a vacation. Why in the world should someone boycott
the NSA auction, only to sell privately and send in donation money? You even
allow that the person selling could use auctions as the means of selling,
yet you seem strongly opposed to the NSA auction. your opinion doesn't
square with anything logical. No one demanded that you should purchase cards
from that or any auction, nor that you should do so sight unseen. If you
don't like auctions, don't go yourself. But if you are a promoter of 3D in
all it's best forms, then why get in the way of other's enjoyment of 3D?

***** The percentage of images that are from one person is a statistic
which is derived after all images are brought together for the auction. No
one had a contract to supply 10% or any other percentage. If Bill had been
the only one to show up and offer cards for auction, he would have
represented 100% of what's there. If you object to 10% as too high a
percentage, then make a few stereo cards yourself and submit them so he
won't have such a high percentage of the total.
If you object to auctions in general, fine, that's how you feel. I haven't
been to an auction and currently don't collect stereo cards, However, I
think it would have been interesting to attend had I had the time available.
I see absolutely nothing to complain about in regards to this particular
auction or the fact that it raises money for the NSA. That's a good stereo
3D related cause that sounds worth supporting, especially for those who like
auctions or collecting stereo cards. I liked Bill's suggestion that more
contemporary views would have been nice.
